J-Hope completed one-year of his military enlistment and took to his Instagram to mark this special moment.

J-Hope of BTS marks one year of military enlistment, says ‘time flies’ in new Insta story

BTS rapper J-Hope, who recently released his new album and documentary, marked one year since his military enlistment and shared the special moment with his fan ARMY.

Marking the milestone on April 18, J-Hope took to his Instagram story where he shared his older post from the time when he began his military service. Reflecting upon the passage of time, the BTS star rapper wrote ‘time flies’.

After the South Korean military service act was revised in December 2020, the rapper and dancer was given a postponement of military service. On April 18, J-Hope began his military service as an active-duty soldier. The BTS star is expected to return by October 2024.

J-Hope's professional front

Despite being away for the fulfillment of his mandatory military duty, BTS member released a new album and a docuseries- ‘HOPE ON THE STREET’. The docuseries follows J-Hope as he explores his dance roots and takes the fans on the incredible journey of dancer’s origins.

Meanwhile, J-Hope's album, ‘HOPE ON THE STREET Vol 1’, features tracks where J-Hope has collaborated with talented artists including, Benny Blanco, Jungkook, LE SSERAFIM’s Yunjin and many more.

BTS' J-Hope recently took a short break from his military activities and paid a special visit to the 'Hope on the Street' pop-up store. Not only did he surprise fans with his sudden visit, he also shared a video of himself performing the Neuron dance challenge in his military uniform. The fun video has now sent the internet berserk, with ARMYs (BTS fans) praising Hobi's swift moves.
