HYBE has reportedly attempted to contact the parents of NewJeans’ members. The reports suggest that HYBE has decided to take a direct approach and reached out to the members’ parents, however, CEO of NewJeans’ management company ADOR, has not taken this well. Here are the latest developments.

HYBE tries to contact NewJeans’ parents

The recent media reports have said that HYBE, the parent label of NewJeans, has attempted to contact the families of the group’s members in the wake of ongoing feud with group’s management company, ADOR. However, no further updates or developments have been reported on the matter.

ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin’s reaction

Korean media outlet YTN reported that ADOR CEO has expressed her displeasure over the attempts. According to Min Hee Jin, the parents have not responded to HYBE’s calls. This development comes shortly after the release of NewJeans’ new music video, ‘Bubblegum’.

About HYBE Vs ADOR dispute

The tension escalated between HYBE label and its subsidiary ADOR CEO after the former asked her to resign. HYBE accused Min Hee Jin of trying to take over the company. In response to that, Min Hee Jin alleged that HYBE is copying NewJeans’ concept for Belift Labs’ rookie group ILLIT. Hee Jin held a press conference and revealed her private chats with HYBE chairman Bang Si Hyuk and levelled several allegations. In the meantime, HYBE released its audit report on Min Hee Jin and has lodged a police complaint against her apart from responding to her allegations.
