BTS' Suga turns 31: Jin's chaotic wish for fellow Bangtan boy reminds ARMY of good ol' days

BTS member Suga celebrates his 31st birthday today. With all members of the boyband enlisted in the South Korean military and Suga himself serving as a public service agent, it's unlikely that the Agust D crooner will be able to celebrate this special day with fellow Bangtan boys or ARMY. However, Jin, the oldest member of BTS, stepped up to ensure that Suga's special day was not overlooked.

Jin wishes Suga on his birthday

To mark Suga's birthday, Jin seized the opportunity to extend his best wishes to his fellow BTS member. Returning to his previous post on Weverse, Jin wrote, "Happy birthday Suga!!!!" Though seemingly a simple gesture, Jin going back to his previous post carries a chaotic energy that he is known for. The 'Astronaut' singer had pulled a similar stunt on Jimin's birthday.

Jin's latest SNS activity has reminded fans of the good old goofy days of BTS when members would gather together to celebrate birthdays and other occasions.

Jin's military service

Jin, who was the first member to get enlisted in the military, is currently stationed in the Fifth Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do. Last week, the singer sent ARMYS into a tizzy, when he began the countdown to his discharge date. Jin's discharge date is set for June 12, 2024.

Suga's military service

Suga started his mandatory military duty in September 2023. He joined the duty as a social service agent, an alternative form of military service in the country. His expected discharge date is slated for June 21, 2025.
