South Korean singer and BTS member Jungkook garnered attention recently as his debut solo album, ‘GOLDEN’ topped the music charts. The K-pop sensation set significant Spotify records within a month of the album's release.

Prior to ‘GOLDEN's launch in October, the ‘Seven’ hitmaker announced two remix editions of his tracks. Following the release of these remixes, fans fervently voiced their wish for a collaboration between Jungkook and Usher. Now, it appears the K-pop star has granted his fans' wishes.

The ‘3D’ singer revealed an impending remix of his solo track ‘Standing Next To You’ featuring American singer-songwriter Usher on November 29. BIGHIT, Jungkook's music production house, made the announcement via social media, unveiling plans for the track's release in December. According to a statement from the management company, Usher's vocals will infuse a ‘velvety’ essence into the original's energetic vibe, highlighting the powerful synergy between the two artists.

As the news spread across social media, fans swarmed platforms like X (formerly known as Twitter and Instagram), sharing their excitement and anticipation for what's to come.

Among the comments, one user highlighted, ‘We'll be streaming! Also, it's challenging for non-western artists to make their mark in the US. Additionally, the choice of collaborating with Usher reflects an R&B influence rather than solely chart ambitions.’

Another fan said, ‘I think Jungkook's strength is no joke, everyone wants to work with him.’

One more wrote, ‘As the voice of kpop I speak for everyone when I say that we are all highly anticipating this remix and that it is guaranteed to be absolutely incredible with phenomenal production and amazing vocals.’
