BTS' Jin to discharge from military on June 12; all members take leave from army to celebrate his return

BTS fans, known as ARMYs, are currently on cloud nine, thanks to ongoing FESTA activities, which have provided them with new wholesome content to rejoice. With Jin's discharge from the military, the celebrations are expected to grow tenfold. And, in yet another exciting news for ARMYs, the remaining six members, including RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, of the boy band are also expected to join Jin on June 12 to celebrate his return, marking their first reunion since Jimin and Jungkook's enlistment in the military in December last year.

OT7 reunion on the cards?

Amid the eagerly anticipated FESTA fan meeting with Jin, a Dispatch report has revealed that all six members have applied for a leave on June 12. They will take a break from their military duties and gather to celebrate Jin's discharge from the South Korean army. The report further added that there will not be any official discharge ceremony, just like when the 'Astronaut' singer enlisted in the service. However, it remains unknown if the members will join Jin for the FESTA activities.

About Jin's fan meeting

On June 2, BTS' agency, Big Hit Music, announced Jin would officially return for the 2024 Festa and celebrate the special day with ARMYs. The label revealed an “in-person event led by BTS member Jin” will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Jamsil Arena in Jamsil Sports Complex, Songpa-gu in Seoul. In the announcement, they added, “This event was prepared to fulfil Jin’s wish to spend meaningful time with ARMY in person on BTS’ debut day. We invite you to join us as we express our gratitude for your unwavering love for BTS.”
