BLACKPINK’s Jennie officially joins X, BLINKs rush to follow her

BLACKPINK singer Jennie has officially launched her own profile on social media platform X. Thanks to Jennie’s global fan following, the account crashed as a huge number of fans reached out to follow her.

The account features the same profile picture as Jennie’s Instagram account and gives another platform to the singer to connect with her global audience.

Earlier on September 19, Jennie launched her solo Weverse community and shared her first video message. While BLACKPINK as a group was already on the platform, Jennie became the first member to have a solo account.

On the professional front, Jennie is all set for the release of her first solo album. She has also signed with Columbia Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment. While BLACKPINK as a group remains with YG Entertainment, Jennie has established her own agency, ODD ATELIER, like her other bandmates except Rose.
