Will Smith brings up Oscars ‘slapgate’ incident in a video, netizens say ‘no more apologies please'

Hollywood star Will Smith has brought up the controversial Oscar slap incident in his recent video, but in a light note. Last year, he made headlines after he slapped comedian Chris Rock at the Oscar ceremony over a joke he made about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

Taking to social media, Will posted a video where he reacts to a video of a woman who explains how people can ask objects what they think of them. She added, ‘You will get an answer in your mind from your intuition’. In the video, he is seen posing with the trophy.

The woman in the video says, ‘So, for example, you can pick up a pen and ask it how it sees you or what it thinks of you, and you will get an answer in your mind from your intuition’. After patiently listening to her for a long time, the actor picks up his Oscar trophy. The clip ends when he was about to ask the Oscar statuette a question.

As soon as the video was shared, fans started showering Will with love and praises.

A fan wrote, ‘I’m glad you’re back! No more apologies PLEASE!’. While another user wrote, ‘Message to haters Will and his fans have moved on. No more apology tours’.
A user also wrote, ‘the Oscar is saying will it’s not important what people think about you ask God what he thinks of you’.

Will Smith has resigned from the Academy and has been banned from attending the event for 10 years after the infamous slapgate controversy. Will Smith has apologised to Chris Rock and talked about the incident many times.
