Vanessa Hudgens confirms welcoming 1st child with Cole Tucker; criticises paparazzi for invading privacy

Vanessa Hudgens has announced the arrival of her first child with husband Cole Tucker, a Major League Baseball player. The 35-year-old shared the news on her Instagram Story on July 4, expressing joy that the baby, mom, and dad are ‘happy and healthy’.

In her post, she also criticized paparazzi for invading their privacy during this precious moment. ‘We're saddened by the disrespect and exploitation of our family's privacy during this special time, fueled by the greed of intrusive long-lens cameras feeding the media,’ she wrote.

‘Despite all of that, mom, dad, and baby are happy and healthy,’ she added.

TMZ broke the news of Vanessa Hudgens giving birth, publishing photos of her leaving a Santa Monica hospital on July 3 with her newborn and Cole Tucker by her side.

Vanessa Hudgens did not share additional details about her baby. Unlike many celebrity parents, Hudgens and Tucker have chosen to keep details about their newborn private. As of now, the baby's birth date and gender remain undisclosed. They have also refrained from posting typical baby photos on Instagram, much to their fans' disappointment.

In the photos, Hudgens was seen leaving the hospital in a blue wheelchair, holding her baby close. Cole Tucker, her husband and MLB player whom she married in December 2023, stood nearby on their way out of the healthcare facility on July 3, which coincided with his 28th birthday.

A day before the hospital pictures surfaced online, Hudgens shared a birthday tribute for her husband, writing, ‘Happy birthday to my slice of heaven.’

The actor, who recently starred alongside Will Smith in 'Bad Boys: Ride or Die', posted a carousel of adorable photos of her husband, praising him for brightening the world with his presence.
