Travis Scott uses his Miami arrest mugshot to launch a limited-edition T-shirt line

Travis Scott was arrested in Miami early Thursday. The rapper was accused of disorderly intoxication and trespassing. A day after his brief ordeal, Scott has turned his misery into a business idea.

Scott launches limited-edition T-shirt line

Following his recent encounter with the law, Travis Scott brainstormed to turn his viral arrest mugshot into merchandise. The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter has introduced a limited-edition T-shirt line featuring his Miami arrest mugshot.

The T-shirt features a slightly modified version of his viral mugshot taken in Miami during his arrest. While in the original picture, Scott had a blank expression, the edition version has him doing his iconic smirk. Below the image, “It’s Miami” is printed. He has called it ‘Free The Rage’ tee and is selling it for $35. According to his website, $5 dollar of each sale will be donated to the Cactus Jack Foundation, Scott’s charitable organisation.

About Travis Scott’s arrest

The hip-hop artist was arrested for allegedly causing a ruckus at a charter boat in Miami. He was charged with trespassing and intoxication. However, the singer-songwriter was released after paying a bond. According to Billboard, the rapper has returned home.

Not the first time

This is not the first time that Travis has turned his mugshot into a T-shirt. Earlier in 2017, he was arrested in Arkansas for allegedly inciting a riot during his concert. Travis had sold a T-shirt featuring his mugshot from the arrest even then.
