Sydney Sweeney hilariously shuts down dating rumours with 'Anyone But You' co-star Glen Powell at SNL

'Anyone But You' co-stars Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell's scintillating off-screen chemistry has given birth to their dating rumours time and again. However, Sydney, who is engaged to Jonathan Davino, has now set the records straight for once and all.

Sweeney shuts down Powell dating rumours

Sydney and Glen's 'Anyone But You' promotional tour garnered significant limelight but not for reasons the lead pairs would have liked. Despite clearing the air many a time, the duo have been linked together on numerous occasions. Now, during her recent Saturday Night Live performance, the 'Madame Web' star has shut the rumours with a savage response.

In reaction to the ongoing rumours about her relationship with her 'Anyone But You' co-star, Sweeney in a hilarious opening monologue at SNL called it the 'craziest' thing that she had heard.

“The craziest rumour I’ve seen is that while I was filming Anyone But You, I was having an affair with my co-star Glen Powell. That’s not true. I and my fiance (Jonathan Davino) produced the movie together and he was there for the entire shoot. And I just want to let everyone know that he’s the man of my dreams and we’re still together and stronger than ever. He even came here tonight to support me,” she said while asking to cut to him; however, to only leave the audience in splits as the camera panned out to Powell. “That’s not my fiancé!” the actress quipped and added, “He’s in my dressing room and we have a great show for you tonight!”

Glen and Sydney's relationship rumours

Sydney's relationship with Glen came under scrutiny after their BTS pics from the sets of 'Anyone But You' went viral. While their bonding during the promotional tour added fuel to the fire, it further got heightened after Powell ended his relationship with Gigi Paris in April 2023. Around the same time, the 'Euphoria' star's fiance was also spotted moving out of her Los Angeles residence with their dog and luggage. However, following this, Sweeney and Davino have made many public appearances together, proving there is no room for doubts between them.

On the acting front, Sydney will next feature in 'Euphoria' Season 3.
