Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse 2 trailer: Miles Morales lands in India

Good news for desi fans of Spider-Man! Sony has unveiled the teaser of the sequel of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

In the film, Miles Morales heads to India with yet another adventure. Mile Morales (Shameik Moore) reunites with Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld), and invites him for another run through dimensions.

Miles soon follows her lead and is seen travelling through a portal of hexagonal rings, but judging by the sounds and Hindi text appearing on the screen, Miles seems to find himself in India. He finally meets Miguel O’hara, AKA Spider-Man 2099.

The first look has left Marvel fans in India excited. Many are hoping desi Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar shows up in the film. Pavitr Prabhakar was introduced as the Indian Spider-Man in 2004 with Spider-Man: India (2004) #1. In the comics, the superhero wears a desi combination of the Spider-Man suit. While the torso features the iconic blue and red suit, he pairs the superhero outfit with a dhoti.

The movie is slated for a release on October 7, 2022.
