Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello call it quits after 7 years of marriage

Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello have decided to end their marriage of nearly eight years. In a statement to PageSix on July 17, the couple shared the news, saying, ‘We have made the difficult decision to divorce.’

‘As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives,’ their statement read.

The ‘Modern Family’ alum married the ‘Magic Mike’ star in a lavish Palm Beach wedding in 2015. A series of photos were shared by Vergara on her Instagram page at the time.

Vergara and Manganiello started dating in 2014 and got engaged after dating for six months.

In early July, Joe Manganiello posted a photo with Sofia Vergara to wish her a happy birthday.

On the other hand, Vergara last shared a throwback photo with Manganiello in June from a previous Italian vacation.

The ‘Magic Mike’ star has been noticeably absent from photos that Sofia Vergara has shared in recent days from her vacation in Italy where she celebrated her birthday with friends.

In June, Vergara and Manganiello put their seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom Beverly Hills home on the market for a second time in less than a year, for the price of $18 million.
