Lip reader Jeremy Freeman, in an exclusive statement to Page Six, disclosed that the singer-actress said, “He didn’t want a picture with me. He said no," followed by a jaw-dropping gasp from the 'Folklore' hitmaker. This led to speculation that the two were gossiping about Timothee Chalamet and his date, Kylie Jenner. Many concluded that Timothee declined to get clicked with Selena given her history with Jenner.

Gomez has now set the records straight, addressing the rumours and how. A post shared by a news portal read, "Was Selena Gomez gossiping about Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet at the Golden Globes? Here's the truth," Selena commented. "Noooo, I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that's anyone's business."

Timothee, too, cleared the air on the alleged exchange between him and the 'Only Murders in the Building' star and revealed that despite the tension between the singer and his girlfriend Kylie, there's no "bad blood" between them.

For the uninitiated, Selena Gomez and Kylie Jenner have been at loggerheads since last year, when it was reported that Kylie and her model friend Hailey Bieber allegedly trolled the singer on their Instagram stories, which were deleted shortly. It all began with Selena sharing a TikTok in which she said, "I accidentally laminated my eybrows too much." Just a few hours later, Jenner and Mrs. Bieber took to Instagram to share pics of their own brows, with Kylie writing, "This was an accident," allegedly taking a dig at Gomez.

Selanators haven't kept quiet since the incident, trolling Kylie and Hailey on every other occasion. However, the singer has reprimanded her fans for the same, requesting that they refrain from spreading negativity.
