'Scream' trailer out: Ghostface returns, as the film takes off from events of Scream 4

If you are a fan of scary movies, then buckle up because the trailer for 'Scream' is here! The trailer will send chills down your spine, as it looks quite spooky.

'Ghostface' has returned in the terrifying first trailer for the new Scream film, which is eyeing a January 2022 release. The new film takes the gang back to Woodsboro when a new series of murders take place, leading to the hunt for a new killer.

Actors Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette reprise their iconic characters as Sidney Prescott, Gale Weathers and Deputy Dewey Riley in the adventure. The trio will star alongside the newcomers in the film including Jack Quaid, Melissa Barrera, Dylan Minnette, Mason Gooding, Kyle Gallner, Sonia Ammar, Mikey Madison, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Reggie Conquest.

Some reports say singer and actor Selena Gomez will also be a part of the film, but details are being kept under wraps for now. 'Scream' will hit the theatres on January 14, 2022.
