Sandra Bullock’s longtime partner Bryan Randall dies after 3-year battle with ALS

Actor Sandra Bullock’s longtime partner, Bryan Randall, died after a three-year battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). He was 57. His family confirmed the news to Page Six on August 7.

‘It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS. Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request,’ the family said.

‘We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours,’ it added.

The family has sought ‘privacy to grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan.’

Sandra and Bryan had kept their romance private for the most part, but the actor said that she had ‘found the love of my life’ in him when she appeared on ‘Red Table Talk’ in December 2021.

‘We share two beautiful children — three children, [Randall’s] older daughter. It’s the best thing ever,’ Sandra said.

Sandra adopted son Louis and daughter Laila. Bryan shared a daughter, Skylar Staten Randall, with his previous partner.

Us Weekly sources speculated Bryan and Sandra may have parted ways before his death as they had not appeared in public for several years. However, neither Sandra nor Bryan confirmed this.
