Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas name their baby girl as Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, says report

A couple of months ago, actor Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their baby through surrogacy. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas confirmed the news through their respective social media platforms. They had also requested everyone to respect their privacy.

Although the couple did not reveal the child’s gender, latest reports state that it is a girl. As per a report by TMZ (which has now obtained the birth certificate), the couple has named their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.

For the unversed, ‘Malti’ is a popular name in Hindu culture. It denotes a 'small fragrant flower' or 'jasmine flower' and 'moonlight.' The couple have honoured both their traditions as they chose a Hindu as well as an English name for their baby daughter.

Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in 2018. The power couple took the internet by storm when they announced the news of their baby's arrival in January.
