Olympics 2024: Sarah Jessica Parker reunites with Jennifer Hudson; Taapsee cheers for team India in Paris

The Olympics in Paris are in full bloom, and celebrities are right there, front row to root for their nation's teams. Stars from Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Hudson to Snoop Dogg and Taapsee Pannu, are in the City of Love to turn cheerleaders for their favourite athletes.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Hudson, who co-starred in 'Sex and the City: The Movie', brought glitz and glamour to Paris as they led the cheerleading squad for Team USA at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Taking to her X account, Hudson shared a photo of their warm reunion which saw them posing in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower. The Grammy-and Oscar-winning recording artist starred as Carrie Bradshaw's (Parker) personal assistant in the movie spin-off of the celebrated HBO show.

The picture shared by Hudson has Parker radiating her Bradshaw charm in a denim corset dress paired with a black cardigan while she herself kept it chic in an oversized faux fur overcoat. “Look who I ran into in Paris! Carrie and Louise reunited at last! Love is the thing, you know!” Hudson said in her post, hashtagging #SATC.

Taapsee brings 'Rani Rizz' to Paris

Taapsee, currently awaiting the release of her next 'Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba', has landed in Paris to extend her support to her husband Mathias Boe, who happens to be Indian Badminton team's coach.

In a post shared by Taapsee on Instagram, the actor is seen taking a stroll on the scenic streets of Paris. She opted for a light green saree styled with a cropped top for the outing and styled her curls in a back bun. In another picture, she was seen sitting in front of a beautiful door, while the next few snaps saw her enjoying that tourist vibe of the city. In one heartwarming video, Taapsee was spotted in the stands, where she enthusiastically cheered for Team India, waving the Indian flag high. She also posed with her sister, Shagun Pannu, in one of the pictures.

In the caption, she wrote, “Day 1 of endless walking, Walking Paris’ prettiest street (coz that’s what Mindy says!) to walking from group stage to knockout stage. American rapper Snoop Dogg has taken on the role of a special reporter at Paris 2024 for US broadcaster NBC, and fans are of the view that he's the 'best thing that ever happened to the Olympics'. Reporting live from Paris, the rapper has been providing his followers with exclusive content straight from the Olympic Village. After cheering on celebrated gymnast Simone Biles, a viral video sees him practising Fencing with one of the fencers from the USA team. The video has spread like wildfire across social media, leaving the internet in splits as netizens go ROFL over his hilarious antics.

Earlier, stars like Tom Cruise, Kate Middleton, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, and Ariana Grande, among others brought the star power to the Paris 2024.
