'Ms Marvel' trailer: Marvel gets its first Muslim superhero as Kamala Khan

Marvel unveiled the first official trailer of the Disney+ Hotstar series, 'Ms. Marvel' which stars Iman Vellani in a titular role.
The story revolves around a Muslim American teenager Kamala Khan who wants to be like Captain Marvel.

Marvel Studios took to Twitter to share the trailer on its official handle. "The future is in her hands. Ms. Marvel, an Original series from Marvel Studios, starts streaming on June 8 on @DisneyPlus. #MsMarvel", it tweeted.

In the intriguing trailer, we see Kamala balancing her life as a high school kid and as a superhero. The Weekend’s Blinding Lights could be heard running in the background which makes the trailer more appealing.

Earlier, there have been reports that Pakistani actor Fawad Khan will also be a part of 'Ms Marvel'. However, there has been no official word yet.

'Ms Marvel' is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4. The show will start streaming from June 8 on Disney+ Hotstar.
