Meghan Markle to return to acting with role once offered to Princess Diana? Here’s what we know

Meghan Markle is likely to make her acting comeback soon. If reports are to be believed, she will play a role that was once offered to Princess Diana but she rejected.

According to the renowned German magazine Gala, Meghan has got an opportunity to star with Kevin Costner in ‘The Bodyguard 2’.

The actor recently revealed that when the idea for 'The Bodyguard 2' first came up, he had envisioned Princess Diana, Prince Harry's late mother, as the perfect leading lady.

Costner shared that Princess Diana had called him and inquired about the possibility of a kissing scene in the film.

“She said it in a very respectful ... she was a little nervous because her life was very governed. And I said, 'Yeah, there's going to be a little bit of that, but we can make that OK too,’” he recalled.

The world is closely watching Meghan's journey post-royal life, her potential involvement in this project has intrigued her fans and critics alike.

Meghan Markle is reportedly facing challenges even after signing with a top talent agency in April. She has not disclosed any concrete plans for her upcoming projects.

According to PR expert Kieran Elsby, the timeframe to secure deals is longer than usual.

Despite her previous successes with a Spotify deal alongside Prince Harry and a partnership with Netflix, Meghan's progress in finding new projects has been relatively quiet since joining William Morris Endeavor (WME), a prestigious agency.
