Kick Kennedy Disheartened When Her ‘Celeb Crush’ Ben Affleck Quarantined With Ana de Armas

This is a fresh twist in the Ben Affleck Jennifer Lopez separation saga with reports claiming that the Argo actor’s new love interest ‘Kick’ Kennedy had a celebrity crush on him.

While Kennedy came under the lens after Lopez filed for a divorce and press reported that Ben was already dating her, it has also come to fore that the duo were friends even before Affleck was dating Ana De Armas, which started in March 2020.

Page Six revealed that their friendship dates back further than previously thought, even before Ana. The source told the publication that Kennedy was unhappy when Affleck chose to quarantine with Ana during COVID-19. To quote the sources Kennedy was less than thrilled'.

As for why Affleck might be interested in wooing a member of the Kennedy dynasty, another Page Six source has an idea.

They suggest that Affleck might prefer being part of the Kennedy clan over a glamorous, billion-dollar life with JLo.

Multiple sources have confirmed to PEOPLE that the 52-year-old actor and the socialite have been spending time together, with their relationship reportedly developing since late spring. They’ve recently been seen together at the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Despite these reports, Affleck’s representative has denied the rumours, and said he doesn’t know if the duo know each other.

Ben—who shares three children, Violet (18), Seraphina (15), and Samuel (12), with ex-wife Jennifer Garner—has been spending time with loved ones during his separation from Jennifer Lopez.

After helping his daughter move into college on the same day JLo filed for divorce, he was also seen hanging out with his best friend Matt Damon and his family, including Matt’s wife Luciana, on August 25.

Meanwhile, J.Lo—who has 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony—has kept a low profile, only sharing a throwback glam photo on social media since filing for divorce last week.

The former couple's divorce proceedings, which list their separation date as April 26, come after months of rumours that their marriage was in trouble. Speculation began when JLo attended the 2024 Met Gala, where she was a co-chair, without Ben.

In the months that followed, Ben and J.Lo continued to wear their wedding rings and appeared together publicly, but rumours persisted that they were living apart.
