Justin Timberlake is postponing a show due to a recent injury.

Ahead of his October 8 concert in Newark, New Jersey, part of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, the singer took to social media to announce the delay.

‘I'm really sorry to postpone tonight's show,’ Timberlake wrote on Instagram.

‘I’m so disappointed to not see you all – but I’m working to reschedule ASAP. I promise to make it up to you and give you the show y’all deserve. Thank you for understanding. Appreciate your support always,’ he added.

Justin Timberlake hasn’t spilled the tea on the injury that sidelined his October 8 show at the Prudential Center.

A statement on the venue’s website confirms the postponement, adding that they’re working with Timberlake’s team to lock in a new date.

‘The Justin Timberlake event originally scheduled for October 8, 2024, has been postponed. We're collaborating with the artist’s team to reschedule and will provide updates ASAP,’ reads the statement.

They also urged fans to stay tuned for updates via social media and to hold onto their tickets for the rescheduled date.

Timberlake is still slated to perform at the Wells Fargo Centre on October 11 in Philadelphia, followed by a stop in DC’s Capital One Arena on October 13, and back-to-back shows in Toronto on October 17 and 18.

It remains unclear if the injury will impact future tour dates.

The Forget Tomorrow World Tour is in support of Justin Timberlake’s latest album, Everything I Thought It Was, which dropped on March 15 and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. The 18-track album, led by hit singles “Selfish” and “Drown,” includes exciting collaborations with Fireboy DML, Tobe Nwigwe, and a reunion with his former *NSYNC bandmates.

In September, Justin Timberlake added 10 new dates to his 2025 Forget Tomorrow World Tour. The new leg kicks off on January 13 in Portland, Oregon, and wraps up on February 3 in Austin, Texas.
