Farhan Akhtar is set to join the cast of Ms. Marvel in a ‘guest-starring’ role

The multi-talented Farhan Akhtar joins the Marvel family with Disney Plus’ upcoming series ‘Ms Marvel’. He will be a part of the series that introduces Iman Vellani and others like Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer and Nimra Bucha.

While the details about Farhan's role in the show have not been revealed, it is expected that the actor will make a cameo appearance in the show.

'Ms. Marvel,' starring Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, the eponymous character, will launch on June 8 on the OTT platform. Kamala is a superhero mega-fan with an oversized imagination, especially when it comes to Captain Marvel. She is an avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe.

Farhan Akhtar and his wife, Shibani Dandekar, both confirmed the news on their respective social media handles.

On the work front, Farhan Akhtar is helming 'Jee Le Zaraa', starring Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
