The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards were presented at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California. Host Kenan Thompson commenced the show with dances to remixes of theme songs from popular TV shows like ‘Friends,’ ‘Law & Order’ and ‘Stranger Things.’

‘Succession’, ‘The White Lotus,’ and ‘Ted Lasso’ won some of the biggest awards of the night.

Sheryl Lee Ralph, who plays Barbara Howard on ‘Abbott Elementary’, won outstanding supporting actress. She made history as she became the second Black woman to score an Emmy in the category after Jackée Harry, who won for ‘227’ in 1987.
