Courteney Cox's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony marks a 'Friends' reunion

Actor-producer Courtney Cox was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday. She reunited with her ‘FRIENDS’ co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow at the ceremony.

Laura Dern spoke first to highlight the ‘Cougar Town’ actor’s career. ‘I spent years before, like all of us, obsessively watching Friends with just joy. But then, when we were close, I would go to visit the set and watch this amazing group of actors — and yes, friends — all working together on set like this one extraordinary, artistic organism. I saw Court’s amazing worth ethic up close and the infections love of creating, which she brings to any company,’ she said.

After Dern, Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston took the stage together to honour Courtney. However, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc all skipped the big event.

The duo recalled Cox being the most famous cast member at the beginning of Friends, which aired on NBC from 1994 to 2004.

‘To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney. She was immediately inclusive — warm, loving interested in everything about you. I was really nervous to meet her because I was a huge fan,’ said Aniston told the audience.

Jennifer also took to Instagram to share how proud she’s of her friend. She wrote, ‘Very proud of our girl @courteneycoxofficial today. I love these women with literally every ounce of my heart and soul @lisakudrow and I were on a cloud being able to celebrate her and her incredible achievements.’
