Actor Chris Pratt and his author wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, are expecting their third baby, reported People. The couple share daughters, Eloise Christina, 2, and Lyla Maria, 3. The Marvel star, 45, is also dad to 11-year-old son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris.

Chris and Katherine are keeping the details of their pregnancy private, sources told people. The couple has shared no official statement or updates on their social media accounts. Despite their secrecy, fans of the 'Star Wars' actor are over the moon to learn about the new addition to his family.

Earlier on Friday, Schwarzenegger shared a glimpse of their family outing. "Things that make me happy: A gloomy morning followed by a barn visit," she captioned the photos.

Pratt and Katherine on parenthood

Katherine has previously shared some insights on motherhood in the past. During an Instagram Live series BDA Baby (Before, During, After Baby), she shared how she feels about asking for help as a mother. “I’m a big believer – I feel like on Instagram we see all these moms that are like, ‘I’m doing it all, I’m doing it all, I’m doing it all on my own,’ blah-blah and I’m like, ‘I don’t want to do it all on my own,'” she said. She continued, "I want to lean on my sister, I want to lean on my mom, I want to lean on my girlfriends, my mom friends. I want to be honest and transparent and also say, 'I can't make this today. My kid's sick. She was up all night teething. I need to be a mom right now."

Pratt, the 'Guardian of the Galaxy' star has also been vocal about embracing fatherhood. In an interview with E! News, Pratt described his children as "sweet, polite, kind, joyous little angels" that he adores.
