Bruce Willis going through really difficult times with aphasia: Sylvester Stallone

Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone has given a health update on his friend, actor Bruce Willis, who is suffering from a psychological condition called aphasia. Stallone said Willis is going through a tough time and he’s been sort of incommunicado.

In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, the ‘Rocky’ actor added that not speaking to Willis ‘kills me’ and ‘it's so sad.’ Sylvester Stallone is a long-time friend of Bruce Willis, who co-starred with him in ‘The Expendables’ franchise. In March, he had shared an old picture of the actor, along with a heartfelt caption on Instagram.

‘We go back a long way , praying for the best for you and your wonderful family …,’ he wrote.
The National Health Service (NHS) of the UK defines aphasia as a psychological condition in which a person has trouble speaking and understanding. This means that Bruce Willis could one day lose the ability to understand or express speech.

In March 2022, Bruce Willis’ family announced that the legendary actor will be stepping away from his career after being diagnosed with this condition and will no longer be in the spotlight. The family’s statement read, ‘To Bruce's amazing supporters, as a family, we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration, Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.
