Britney Spears addresses reports of altercation with boyfriend at Los Angeles hotel

Singer Britney Spears made headlines after photos of her leaving the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, wrapped in a blanket and holding a pillow, went viral. She responded, explaining she had twisted her ankle. Paramedics were called, and she was escorted out barefoot. Reports suggest she had a heated argument with her boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz, and 'screamed out of control in the hallway of her suite', raising concerns about her mental health.

In a note on Instagram, Spears wrote, ‘Just to let people know...the news is fake!!! I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger everyday!!! (sic).’

In another post, she shared videos of her swollen ankle and wrote that 'her mom was involved'. She also mentioned that she 'can't stand her'.

Her caption read, ‘I know my mom was involved !!! I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out !!! I was set up just like she did way back when !!! I wish I had grandparents !!! I can’t stand her !!! I honestly don’t care I will say it!!! Psss this man is wonderful !!! He’s like a father to me and he got me through last night !!! I adore you and admire you mister Mathew !!! (sic).’

Los Angeles Fire Department official Brian Humphrey confirmed to Page Six that an ambulance was called to the hotel. ‘At 1:00 a.m. an ambulance arrived at the premises. I can confirm no one was transported. Services left the scene at 1:17 a.m. The police department were not called,’ he said.

According to a Daily Mail report, Spears and Soliz had a 'short fling', and she was unaware of his criminal history. The report stated, ‘Paul notably has multiple felonies, according to court documents, such as possession of a firearm in December 2022 when he was employed by Britney. Also in September 2023, Soliz was seen at the San Fernando Superior Court after allegedly violating his probation.’

This incident has stirred memories of Britney Spears' admission to the psych ward of Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in 2008.
