Beyonce and Jay-Z reportedly upgraded from their $88 million mansion in Bel Air, California, to a $200 million Malibu property last month.

The couple's new home is a 30,000 square foot concrete masterpiece designed by the Japanese architect Tadao Ando, according to TMZ, which broke the news. It is perched on an eight-acre cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The sale represents the most expensive residential real estate transaction in California's history, though not in American history.
