AMAs 2022 Winners List: Taylor Swift and Harry Styles take home major honours, BTS bag historic win

Taylor Swift and Harry Styles took home major honours at the American Music Awards 2022 which were held in Los Angeles on November 20. They won the Favourite Female Pop Artist and Favourite Male Pop Artist. Wayne Brady hosted the fan-voted awards show. The former couple also competed in three major categories including Favourite Pop Album, which was won by Taylor for Taylor Swift: Red (Taylor's Version). She won in the Best Music Video category as well.
Taylor Swift also beat Harry Styles to win the Artist of the Year honour.

Beyonce and Taylor Swift were this year's most-nominated female artists. The former was awarded Favourite Female R&B Artist as well as Favourite R& B album for ‘Renaissance’, while Taylor won several honours including Favourite Female Country Artist and Country Album for Red (Taylor's Version).

Nicki Minaj and Kendrick Lamar were the big winners in the Hip Hop category.

BTS created history by bagging Favorite Pop Duo or Group for the fourth time in a row. They are now the first artist in AMAs history to win the award four different times. The K-pop band was competing against Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Maneskin and OneRepublic in the category.
