Bollywood Actor Govinda Hospitalized in Mumbai

Mumbai, Nov 12 (PTI) Bollywood actor Govinda has been hospitalized in Juhu following an episode of disorientation and brief unconsciousness at his home, according to his legal advisor and friend, Lalit Bindal. The 61-year-old actor is reported to be stable and is currently undergoing tests at CritiCare hospital.

"He felt disoriented around 8:30 pm yesterday and lost consciousness," Bindal shared. "The family consulted a doctor who prescribed some medication, but he continued to feel weak. We consulted the doctor again, and on his advice, took him to the hospital. Govinda is now stable and resting, with doctors closely monitoring his condition."

Bindal initially mentioned that the actor had fainted in the evening and was promptly taken to CritiCare hospital. He also shared an update on Instagram, expressing his concern for Govinda's health. "My dear and respected @govinda_herono1 has been admitted in hospital with complaints of disorientation and unconscious (sic). I pray for his speedy recovery," he posted.

Last year, in October, Govinda was rushed to the same hospital following an incident where his licensed revolver allegedly misfired, causing a bullet wound to his knee. The actor, associated with the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, was discharged three days after the incident.
