Girls Planet 999 comes to an end, as the Top 9 form new girl group 'Kep1er'

Girls Planet 999, the popular survival show of the moment has come to an end.

‘Girls Planet 999’ brought in 99 participants from South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan and twelve episodes later only 9 are left standing. These 9 are set to debut as a multi-national girl group Kep1er. The first syllable of Kep1er rhymes with the first syllable of “capture,” representing that the members captured their dreams. Meanwhile, “1” represents how the members will unite and become the best of the best.

A survival show, the top 9 have been selected on the basis of global audience voting. And OT9 looked great in their uniforms of purple with the coveted purple bolo ties. The line up for the debut group also features Huening Kai from TXT's younger sister Huening Bahiyyih who ranked second according to the votes.

Tears and thanks flowed freely as the trainees turned into idols. Now that 'Girls Planet 999' is over, we are now anticipating the debut of Kep1er.
