Filmfare Awards 2024: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt dance to ‘Jamal Kudu’; video goes viral | Watch

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's ‘Animal’, starring Ranbir Kapoor, grabbed attention for its plot and its record-breaking box office success. Actor Bobby Deol's impactful role as Abrar Haque sparked discussions, especially when the song ‘Jamal Kudu’ accompanying his entry went viral.

Due to its social media popularity, the song was officially released upon public demand and has inspired numerous reels and videos.

At the Filmfare awards show in Gujarat, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt showcased their dancing skills to ‘Jamal Kudu.’ Alia spontaneously joined Ranbir in performing the hook step, both with glasses on their heads. Ranbir not only danced with Alia but also shared a sweet kiss with her onstage. The couple received top honours at the event.

Neetu Kapoor, who was overwhelmed with Raha’s parents winning top awards at the event, took to social media to congratulate the couple and wrote, ‘I secretly prayed n wished a repeat of 2019 ( Sanju razi ) so happy it happened again !!! Congratulations both of you. proud very very proud.’

‘Animal’ has recorded a worldwide box office collection of Rs 904.93 cr, as per Bollywood Hungama. Recently, Ranbir spoke about the film’s success and also addressed the criticism it received.

‘I want to thank all of you for being here today to celebrate Animal. It is a film that a section of people had an issue with but I feel the kind of love, success and the numbers (it has received) proves that nothing goes beyond the love for a movie. Nothing goes beyond movies,’ Ranbir said, as reported by PTI.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is teaming up with Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt for a new film titled ‘Love and War’.

Alia Bhatt also has ‘Jigra’ in the pipeline. The film, directed by Vasan Bala, will be released in theatres later this year. It also stars Vedang Raina and Aditya Nanda in pivotal roles.
