Did you know Anushka Sharma and Sakshi Dhoni are childhood friends? We have proof

After the IPL 2023 final, some old photos of Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi and actor Anushka Sharma are being widely shared online reminding people that they have been childhood friends.

Anushka and Sakshi studied in Assam’s St. Mary’s School and were classmates too.

One of the old pictures shows the two posing together for a class photograph, while the other appears to be from a fancy dress competition.

After schooling, Anushka went on to become a successful actor, whereas Sakshi studied Hotel Management.

In an old interview, Anushka Sharma talked about Sakshi and said, ‘Sakshi and I lived together in a very small town in Assam. When she told me where she lived, I said wow, I have lived here too! She said I went to this school, I said I went to this school too.’

‘And then I found a picture in which Sakshi is dressed as a fairy and I’m dressed in a Ghaghara like my favourite idol Madhuri. Sakshi is extremely funny,’ she added.

On the work front, Anushka Sharma will soon be seen in ‘Chakda Xpress’ which is a biopic on the life of Indian female cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The movie marks Anushka’s comeback to film after almost 4 years. The upcoming sports drama will be released on Netflix soon.
