The 77th Cannes Film Festival begins in Cannes, France, on May 14. Several Indian films will be screened at the event. As per a recent Bombay Times report, Kiara Advani will represent India at the Red Sea Film Foundation's Women in Cinema Gala Dinner, hosted by Vanity Fair at Cannes.

The event honours six talented women worldwide for their contributions to the entertainment industry. Additionally, Variety announced 4-panel discussions on global incentives and filming at Cannes, scheduled for May 18, 2024, at La Plage Des Palmes. Kiara is slated to join the Red Sea International Film Festival panel.

This year's Cannes Film Festival will be held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, France. The opening ceremony, featuring Quentin Dupieux's film ‘The Second Act,’ will take place on May 14.

Payal Kapadia's film ‘All We Imagine As Light’ has been chosen for the Main competition at Cannes 2024, making it the first Indian film in 30 years to compete for the Palme d'Or.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a regular attendee on the red carpet, is confirmed to return this year. Aditi Rao Hydari and Sobhita Dhulipala will also showcase their fashion on the carpet.

Kiara Advani’s work front

Kiara Advani's latest big-screen appearance was in the romantic drama ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha.’ Her upcoming projects include the political action thriller ‘Game Changer’ alongside Ram Charan. Additionally, she is set to star in ‘War 2’ and ‘Don 3.’
