Cannes 2023: Anushka Sharma, Manushi Chhillar and other Indian faces making their debut

The prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2023 is all set to be held in French Riviera once again from May 16 to 27. This event brings many stars and celebrated filmmakers under one roof. This year, several Indian faces are going to be making their red-carpet debut at the Cannes festival.

Actor Anushka Sharma, content creator Dolly Singh, former Miss World Manushi Chhillar and veteran singer Kumar Sanu’s daughter Shannon K will be attending the Cannes 2023 festival.

Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma will be taking part at an event to honour women in cinema along with Oscar winner Kate Winslet. Her attendance at the festival was confirmed by French Ambassador to India, Emmanuel Lenain.

Manushi Chillar

Former Miss World, actor Manushi Chhillar, who has often inspired us with her fashion statements, will also be attending the festival. We can't wait to see her stylish walk on the cannes film festival 2023 red carpet.

Dolly Singh

Social media influencer and content creator Dolly Singh will be headed to the French Riviera later this month. She will attend the official movie screenings at the iconic Grand Lumiere Theatre and her itinerary also includes cultural explorations where she will sample exquisite culinary experiences at Chez Albane, La Mome Plage, Silencio Club, Fred l'ecailler and Majestic Le Paradisio.

Shannon K

Veteran singer Kumar Sanu's daughter Shannon K, who made her singing debut in 2018 with artist Poo Bear in a song titled ‘A Long Time’, expressed her excitement for the big opportunity. Shannon says attending the event feels ‘surreal’.

Aditi Rao Hydari who made her Cannes debut last year will be returning to the red carpet this time as well. She will be a part of this year’s Festival De Cannes as L’Oreal Paris’ spokesperson.

Bollywood stars including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Sharmila Tagore, and Deepika Padukone, among others, have served on the jury for the French festival Cannes.

Other well-known people who have walked the red carpet, include Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Mallika Sherawat, Pooja Hegde, Hina Khan and Tamannaah Bhatia.
