‘Yodha’ box office collection day 2: Sidharth Malhotra starrer sees growth, earns ₹5.75 crore

Sidharth Malhotra starrer ‘Yodha’ has shown an improvement on Saturday after a slow start on Friday. The film witnessed a jump of 40.24 percent in box office collection from the opening day.

‘Yodha’ picks up pace at box office

The aerial action thriller grew 40 per cent on day 2 at box office. According to film industry tracker Sacnilk.com estimates, ‘Yodha’ earned ₹5.75 crore net in India on Saturday. The film minted ₹4.1 crore net on its opening day. The Sidharth Malhotra starrer has minted ₹9.85 crore net in two days. The film registered an overall 13.86 per cent occupancy in Hindi theatres on Saturday.

‘Yodha’ facing tough competition from 'Shaitaan'

While ‘Yodha’ is ahead in Adah Sharma’s ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story’, the film is facing tough competition from Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan starrer ‘Shaitaan’. The horror thriller has crossed ₹ 100 crore mark worldwide.

About ‘Yodha’

The Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre directorial also stars Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna in key roles. The action-thriller packed with patriotic fervour shows Sidharth on a mission to rescue passengers in a hijacked plane. The film has received mixed reviews on social media on day 1.
