World Cup 2023: Anushka Sharma lauds Virat Kohli as he hits 95 against NZ; calls him ‘storm chaser'

India continued its winning streak in the ongoing World Cup as the Men in Blue defeated New Zealand by 4 wickets in Dharamsala on October 22. Virat Kohli led Team India to victory with his match-winning knock of 95 runs.

Post the match, Anushka Sharma, who is Virat's biggest cheerleader, took to her Instagram Stories to shower love on her husband. She called him 'storm chaser' as she shared a photo of him.

She also shared a video by ICC in which Virat is seen getting caught as he tries to hit a six. She wrote, ‘Always proud of you (sic).’

For the past few weeks, rumours have been doing the rounds that Virat and Anushka are expecting their second child. However, there has been no confirmation from their side on their second pregnancy. They are parents to a baby girl, Vamika.

Hindustan Times reported a source claiming, ‘Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage.’ The source also mentioned that Anushka has been away from the public eye to avoid speculation.

It was also reported that Anushka and Virat recently visited a maternity clinic in Mumbai. The quote read, ‘They requested the paparazzi not to publish their pictures, with a promise to make an announcement soon.’

Anushka Sharma tied the knot with Virat Kohli in November 2017. They welcomed their daughter, Vamika, in January 2021.

On the work front, Anushka Sharma was last seen in a cameo role in the Netflix film ‘Qala’, starring Babil Khan and Tripti Dimri.

The actor will soon be seen in 'Chakda Xpress'. The film is a biography of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
