Why Kartik Aaryan is trending after release of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2's spooky teaser

The much-awaited teaser of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' was released on April 14. It begins with the tour of an old haveli at night. 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 1's signature haunting track 'Aami Je Tumar' adds to the spooky vibe of the teaser. A shrieking figure shrouded in darkness appears to be a glimpse of the main supernatural entity. Then, the camera suddenly cuts to a shot of Kartik Aaryan, the successor to Akshay Kumar in the 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' franchise. Aaryan plays 'Rooh Baba', and is accompanied by Rajpal Yadav who reprises his role of 'Chhote Pandit'.

Following the teaser release, fans took to social media to shower praise on Kartik Aaryan. One user predicted that the film would be "a blockbuster for sure". Another tweeted, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2's teaser literally gave goosebumps and Kartik Aaryan was an absolute legend for this character." Meanwhile, yet another said that Aaryan will take the horror-comedy franchise to another level.

The Akshay Kumar-Vidya Balan-starrer ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ turned out to be a smash hit at the Box-Office when it released in the year 2007. Buoyed by the film’s success, the makers went on to announce its sequel ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead. Besides him, the film stars Kiara Advani, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles. The film is being directed by Anees Bazmee and has been slated to release on 20th May this year.
