It will soon be two years since the demise of singer KK, who continues to live through his music. His fans continue to celebrate his legacy and so does his friends. Singer Shaan recently paid a heartfelt tribute to his friend at his live show.

Shaan’s heart-felt tribute to KK

Sharing a glimpse with the fans, Shaan posted a video where he is heard singing KK’s iconic ‘Yaaron Dosti Badi Hi Haseen Hai..’ In the video clip, there were pictures of Shaan and KK in the backdrop. The singer also penned an emotional note remembering his late friend. He wrote, “Remembering KK. Your legacy of music lives on in our hearts. Every note, every melody, echoes with your spirit. Though you left us almost two years ago, your presence remains vivid in our memories and in the songs we sing. Your talent was unmatched, your passion undeniable. Together, we crafted magic on stage, and tonight, I continue that legacy! Forever in our hearts, KK.”

Netizens were transported to KK’s musical world as Shaan sang his melodies. While several fans and music lovers lauded Shaan for remembering the late singer, the video clip left several fans teary-eyed.

Shaan and KK’s friendship

Shaan and KK collaborated over 25 songs together including ‘Dus Bahaane’, ‘It’s Time To Disco’ and ‘Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe’. Both the singers began their careers at almost same time. KK made his debut as playback singer in Bollywood with superhit ‘Tadap Tadap’ from ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. The singer passed away on May 31, 2022 after suffering a heart attack during a live concert in Kolkata.
