As the voting commenced for first phase, top Tamil superstars were seen arriving at the polling booths.

The first phase of the Lok Sabha elections has commenced. Top Tamil superstars were clicked at the various polling booth, casting their votes. Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Dhanush, Ajith Kumar and Sivakarthikeyan were among the first celebrities of Tamil film industry who reached polling booths to exercise their democratic right.

Tamil superstars clicked at poll booth

Tamil actor Ajith Kumar was among the first one to reach the polling booth. The actor reportedly arrived 20 minutes befor the voting began and patiently waited in line for his turn. Ajith was accompanied by his wife at the booth.

Thalaivaa Rajinikanth was also among the celebs arriving early to cast their votes. The superstar was accompanied by his team as he voted in Chennai. The actor showed off his inked finger and posed for the cameras after casting his vote.

Rajinikanth’s ex son-in-law Dhanush was also spotted arriving at a polling booth. Besides, there was actor and politician Kamal Haasan, who was seen interacting and waiting for his turn to vote at the polling booth.
Voting for 102 Lok Sabha seats is currently underway across 21 states and UTs. 39 Lok Sabha are seats are up for grab in Tamil Nadu. While the polling process began at 7 am, it will conclude at 6 pm.
