Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut released in theatres on March 22 and has been receiving a positive response from the audience. To get their live reactions and feedback, Kemmu reached a theatre screening their film with the team of ‘Madgaon Express’. As the film ended, the fans got a sweet surprise as Kemmu, Divyendu and Avinash Tiwary came forward and had a hearty interaction with the fans.

The director and actors asked the audience whether they liked the film or not. To this, many people from the audience showered praises on the film and called it a hit. The ‘Madgaon Express’ team also mentioned that they witnessed the audience’s reaction and laughter during the screening. Kemmu and his team were happy to pose for pictures as fans requested them.

After a decent start at the box office, the film picked up pace on Saturday with a 70% jump and minted nearly ₹3 crore at the box office on day 2. The film has crossed ₹5 crore in domestic markets in two days so far. The film will likely continue to witness the growth on the Holi weekend.

The film directed by Kunal Kemmu, follows the story of three friends desperately looking forward to a Goa trip. However, things go wrong as the trio reach there. Talking about the film, Kemmu told PTI that it was an ode to his first Goa journey.
