Actor Vikrant Massey, who is basking in the success of his film ‘12th Fail,’ was recently involved in a heated argument with a cab driver over the fare. The incident, recorded by the driver and later shared on social media, has sparked debate about its authenticity, with many questioning if it's a real event or a promotional tactic.

The video shows Vikrant disputing the cab fare, which he believes is higher than what was originally shown on the app. However, the driver argued that the app itself raised the fare, indicating he did nothing wrong. He accused Vikrant of verbally abusing him, saying, ‘My name is Ashish. I am a cab driver. I have dropped my passenger at his destination, but he is refusing to pay me and verbally abusing me.’

Turning the camera towards Vikrant, the actor attempted to shield himself with his hand and asked, ‘Why did you bring out the camera? Are you trying to threaten me? I am right here. How did the fare increase on the app? This is not acceptable.’ The cab driver continued to argue, saying, ‘How is this my fault? You earn a lot of money. Why are you arguing?’ Vikrant replied, ‘It doesn’t matter whose money it is. It is hard-earned money.’

Although the video initially seems authentic, fans have speculated that it could be a promotional tactic rather than a genuine incident. One fan commented, ‘The method of movie promotion is a bit casual.’ Another fan wrote, ‘The script is good.’ Another fan speculated, ‘Yeah, this seems like some publicity gimmick for his upcoming series/film. And where did he get violent, that's not visible.’ Another fan sarcastically remarked, ‘One minute of silence for those who think it's real.’

Vikrant Massey is eagerly anticipating the release of the sequel to ‘Haseen Dilruba,’ titled ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba.’ Additionally, he has ‘The Sabarmati Report,’ a film based on the 2002 burning of the Sabarmati Express, in the works.
