Vijay Varma jokes his ‘face is not good enough for posters’, but adds ‘extra star’ to his film's reviews

Actor Vijay Varma is enjoying the success of his latest release 'Darlings', co-starring Alia Bhatt. Recently, Netflix India released a video, titled 'The Roast of Vijay Varma' in which the actor is heard saying that his face isn't good enough for posters. 'You guys must have watched Darlings. It's true my face is not good enough for the posters even if it's there it's somewhere hidden in the posters. But in scenes, this face becomes unforgettable.'

Vijay added that people don't consider him to be a star and that's strange because they cast him in the film to get the extra star in reviews. 'I'm that star. I add an extra star to my film reviews,' he said.

On the work front, Vijay Varma made his acting debut in 2008 with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK's short film ‘Shor’. He got his breakthrough in 2016 with ‘Pink’. Pinkvilla exclusively reported that Vijay Varma has been roped in for Sujoy Ghosh's segment in 'Lust Stories 2'. He will next star in 'The Devotion of Suspect X', co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is an adaptation of Japenese author Keigo Higashino's book.
