Vijay Sethupathi to star in Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Ramayana’? Here’s all that we know

In some exciting news coming in, reports are suggesting that Vijay Sethupathi has been roped in for Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’. While the official confirmation is still awaited, now the reports are emerging that the makers have roped in actor Vijay Sethupathi for the role of ‘Vibhishana’.

A Pinkvilla report, quoting sources, said that Nitesh Tiwari is in touch with South star Vijay Sethupathi for the film. The report claims that the filmmaker has recently met the actor and narrated the script. The actor is said to have liked the script is reportedly on board with the makers for the mega film.

The said magnum opus will see Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram, while Sita will be played by Sai Pallavi. Yash is expected to play Ravana. About the rest of the cast, there are reports that actor Sunny Deol could play Hanuman and Lara Dutta will be seen as Kaikeyi.

About Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’

Ranbir Kapoor starrer film is likely to go on floors in March this year and will be released by Diwali 2025. While the makers are still finalising the cast, pre-production of the film has reportedly started. The magnum opus is reportedly being produced by Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra.
