The makers of ‘Baby John’ had a sweet surprise for the fans of Varun Dhawan as they released a new poster from the film on his birthday. The actor, who is gearing up for the release of his next film, is celebrating his 37th birthday today.

Starring in the lead role, the new poster features Varun Dhawan in an action packed tough avatar. The Bollywood heartthrob is featured shirtless and soaked in the rain in the new poster with long hair and an intense look. A few men can be seen approaching in the backdrop of the poster.

‘Baby John’ producer Murad Khetani shared the poster on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Happy Birthday to the force behind #BabyJohn @varundvn Brace yourselves for an unforgettable cinematic experience. #BabyJohn coming soon!”

The mass action entertainer promises a magnificent cinematic experience with some of the major names in the project.

‘Baby John’ is a former cop, who pretends to die and goes in hiding to live a peaceful life. But he is forced to come and fight back to save his daughter.

Directed by Kalees, ‘Baby John’ is the Hindi remake of the Atlee blockbuster, 'Theri'. The action drama will see Varun Dhawan clash with Jackie Shroff who is playing the antagonist. The film will mark Keerthy Suresh’s Hindi debut and stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav and Sanya Malhotra in key roles. The film is produced by Atlee, Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande. The much-anticipated film is set to release on May 31, 2024.

Besides ‘Baby John’, Varun Dhawan also has ‘Citadel’ in the pipeline where he will share the screen with Samanth Ruth Prabhu.
