'Uunchai' screening: Did Jaya Bachchan ignore Kangana Ranaut at the red carpet?

Sooraj Barjatya's 'Uunchai' is all set to be released in theatres on November 11. Ahead of its theatrical release, Anupam Kher's acting school, Actor Prepares, hosted a special screening of the movie. The film cast and their family members, like Abhishek Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, and several Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan and Kangana Ranaut, attended the event.

A video that caught everyone's attention was that of Jaya Bachchan seemingly ignoring Kangana. It appears that the 'Queen' actor greeted Jaya on the red carpet as she came closer to her while greeting someone else, but Jaya didn't respond and went on to pose for the cameras with Anupam Kher.

However, Jaya's son Abhishek greeted Kangana with a hug and even had a brief chat with her.
Salman Khan, who has worked with Sooraj Barjatya in many films like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, was also present at the screening.

Shehnaaz Gill, who became a household name after her stint on the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 13’, was papped soon after the screening, and when she was asked if she liked the movie ‘Uunchai’, she said, ‘Main bahut roi hoon. Bahut acchi picture hai. Sabko dekhni chahiye.’ (I have cried a lot. It is a very good film. I feel everyone should watch it.)

Rani Mukerji, Akshay Kumar, Madhuri Dixit, Bhagyashree, and Kajol were among the others present at the screening.

‘Uunchai’ stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Neena Gupta, Sarika, Parineeti Chopra and Danny Denzongpa. It narrates the story of three old-aged friends who embark on a journey to climb Mt Everest to fulfill the wish of their late buddy.
