'UT 69': Raj Kundra shares trailer of film based on life at Arthur Jail

Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra has shared the trailer of his debut film 'UT 69'. The film depicts Raj's life in the Arthur Road jail after his arrest for alleged involvement in a pornographic content case in 2021.

On October 18, Raj took to Instagram and shared the trailer of the film with caption, “What a rollercoaster my life has been. Sharing a slice of it with you 🙏🧿”

The film features Raj Kundra and opens with the breaking news about his arrest in 2021. The trailer shows Raj’s struggle in the jail with the inmates troubling him after they recognise him as Shilpa’s husband. It also has some hilarious moments when his inmates discuss his actor wife and ask him to cast them in his movie. Raj is also seen forming some good bonds inside the jail.

Raj was arrested in July 2021 for allegedly producing pornographic videos and was granted bail in September in the same year. He was booked under the Indecent Representation of Women (Prevention) Act and the Information Technology Act.

The makers wrote along with the trailer on YouTube, “UT69 takes a satirical look into the real-life incidents of businessman Raj Kundra’s days spent in Arthur Road jail. He recalls this period as his most difficult time. The film depicts this chapter of his life and is based on a true story.”
