US Envoy meets Shah Rukh Khan at Mannat; discusses the cultural impact of Hollywood and Bollywood

Eric Garcetti, the 26th United States Ambassador to India, met superstar Shah Rukh Khan at Mannat in Mumbai on Tuesday. He shared a few pictures with the actor on social media and mentioned that they discussed the huge cultural impact Bollywood and Hollywood have across the globe. He jokingly also asked his followers if it was time for him to make his Bollywood debut.

‘Is it time for my Bollywood debut? Had a wonderful chat with superstar Shah Rukh Khan at his residence in Mannat, learning more about the film industry in Mumbai and discussing the huge cultural impact of Hollywood and Bollywood across the globe,’ he tweeted.

Garcetti visited Mumbai a day after his visit to Sabarmati Ashram in Gujarat's Ahmedabad, where he was welcomed him with garlands.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in the blockbuster ‘Pathaan’ alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. He now has Atlee’s ‘Jawan’ with Nayanthara and Rajkumar Horani’s ‘Dunki’ alongside Taapsee Pannu in the pipeline.
