Tusshar Kapoor all set to make OTT debut with ‘Dunk’: 'I want to challenge myself'

Tusshar Kapoor is all set to make his OTT debut with the film ‘Dunk’. Known for his comic roles in films like ‘Golmaal’, the actor is now looking to do roles which are out of his comfort zone.

Tusshar on his upcoming project ‘Dunk’

The film is directed by Abhishek Jaiswal and produced by Prerna Arora. Talking about his upcoming OTT project ‘Dunk’, Tusshar Kapoor revealed the reason behind choosing to do the film. He said that it’s a passion project for the entire team of the film. Tusshar shared that the script immediately captivated him.

The actor also shared his two cents on his character in the film. “It’s a grey-shaded, real, and unique character for me. It’s outside my comfort zone, which is precisely why I was drawn to it. Playing a lawyer is a new challenge that excites me, and I’m eager to delve into this uncharted territory,” he said.

Tusshar on doing different roles

The 47-year-old actor also opened up on wanting to explore different roles in future to defy his comic image. He said, “All the characters that I am doing now are different and don’t belong to that typical comical role. I am not consciously looking for roles that are non-comic, but when something like this comes up, I really challenge myself to do it.”

About Tusshar Kapoor’s work front

Tusshar Kapoor was last seen in ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’ in a cameo role. Besides ‘Dunk’, the actor will be next seen in horror comedy ‘Kapkapii’ which will see him reuniting with Shreyas Talpade.
