‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ Twitter review: Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Avneet Kaur starrer gets mixed response

‘Tiku Weds Sheru’, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur, is now streaming on OTT platform Prime Video.

The romantic drama is Kangana Ranaut's first production under her banner Manikarnika Films and is helmed by Sai Kabir, director of ‘Revolver Rani’.

The film revolves around two quirky characters who dream of becoming film stars.

Their romance blooms, but they get caught between the chaos of the underworld, drugs, and face one tragedy after the other.

The film has opened to mixed reviews with some calling it ‘a beautiful film’, while some are referring to it as ‘the worst film of 2023’.

A Twitter user wrote that Kangana is acing the producer game and the story of the movie is engaging.

Another user liked Avneet and Nawazuddin’s performance. He added that Kangana’s cameo in the film is his favourite.

A section of netizens is not impressed with the film.

One user called the movie a ‘mess’ and said the screenplay takes the shape of utter randomness, while another said that the unnecessary plot, not so funny comedy made the movie ‘little boring’.

‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ also stars Zakir Hussain, Vipin Sharma, and Mukesh S Bhatt in key supporting roles.

The film was initially announced in 2016 with the title ‘Divine Lovers’ featuring Irrfan Khan and Kangana Ranaut in the leads.
